Welcome to Andrew Jackson Elementary School, Home of the Eagles!  It is a privilege to join AJS as the Executive Principal for the 2023-2024 school year!  I am honored to serve in this role with wonderful children, a motivated and dedicated staff, parents, and stakeholders who collaborate with us to create an environment that facilitates student learning through various innovative and collaborative methods and activities.  I am excited to be an AJS Eagle!

The faculty and staff at AJS consist of a highly experienced and talented team of professionals.  We are dedicated to the success of every student and ensuring that every student is known.  As the instructional leader of this school, culture means so much to me.  Building a safe, positive learning environment where all members are valued and respected for their unique strengths and differences is critical to student and teacher success.  Your child's education, continued growth, and safety are our top priorities!

As we begin the 2023-2024 school year, we want to continue a strong partnership with families as we strive to provide the best school community for students and families.  Your support is a key component to the success of our students.  We encourage parents to participate in our school community by volunteering, joining our PTO, or attending and supporting school events.  Feel free to stop by our "nest" and see the wonderful things happening in Old Hickory at Andrew Jackson!  We would love to have you.  Please contact me if you have any questions.  I look forward to meeting you and your family!  Thank you for entrusting us with your most prized possession, your children.
